Rachel Lemmon, RLPA Principal

Currently studying for her MA in Voice Pedagogy with the Voice Study Centre, Rachel previously received her professional training at the highly accredited London School of Musical Theatre (LSMT). Her qualifications include a Professional Musical Theatre Diploma, and an FDA in Musical Theatre gained at Newcastle College’s Performance Academy. In early 2021 Rachel became a certified practitioner in Vocal Health First Aid, accredited by Vocal Health Education. VHFA includes training in the anatomy and physiology of the voice.

Rachel has lectured as a Vocal Coach in well established Performing Arts colleges & universities across the Midlands for several years. Previous employment includes Addict Dance Academy, Leicester College of Performing Arts (LCPA), ASA Theatre Arts and Leicester College. As part of the LCPA Associates Teaching team, Rachel has led workshops across the UK in Vocal performance and development. Rachel is currently on the singing faculties for both Performers College & Wilkes Academy.

Rachel has proudly run her own singing tuition school since 2014 and continues to help students toward successful Stage School and College auditions, and professional employment. Her industry experience has enabled her to specialise in vocal technique, repertoire and audition preparation.

Elaine in ‘Bright Lights Big City’ at the Bridewell Theatre, Princess Aurora in ‘Sleeping Beauty’, Tinkerbell in ‘Peter Pan’ with Pyramid Pantomimes, Martha in Off Track Theatre’s ‘Spring Awakening’.

In recent years our team has expanded into a small faculty of singing and acting tutors. Rachel & Kyla offer private tuition from our RLPA studio in Lutterworth. We also run LAMDA acting classes and a MINI Academy vocal group for 6-10 year olds (Lutterworth).
